ISO 14001 Certified Environmental Management Systems

Cargill Steel Service Center business unit has achieved ISO 14001 certification at it's Nashville facility..

ISO 14001 is the internationally recognized gold standard for environmental management systems. Certification to the standard is available only for systems that achieve and maintain conformance with its stringent requirements, as verified by independent auditors, as a prerequisite to registration and to maintain the privilege of certification.

The key elements of our environmental policy and the hallmarks of an environmental management system certified to the ISO 14001 standard are pollution prevention, continuous improvement, and environmental compliance.

Certification is an accomplishment worthy of celebration. Because it cannot be accomplished without the participation of every plant employee and contractor, achieving and maintaining certification drives our environmental core value and environmental awareness through all levels of our organization. Cargill Ferrous recognizes the accomplishment publicly by issuing press releases to local and trade media.
