History
Cargill Ferrous International beginnings date back to 1832, when C. Tennant, Sons and Company was established as a merchandiser of various commodities. In 1972, Cargill Inc. acquired C. Tennant, Sons and Co. as a wholly owned subsidiary. In 1986, the subsidiary became a department of Cargill Inc. and was renamed Cargill Ferrous International to signify its focus on strictly steel related products.
Today, Cargill Ferrous International has several offices strategically located world-wide to link high quality steel mills with consumption markets around the world.

Establish and foster long-term international relations between the producing mill, the material processor, and the end consumer throughout the world's steel industry.
